How to Choose a Trainer
* Training should be a rewarding experience for both you and your dog.
* You should feel comfortable with the training tools and methods used by the instructor.
* A skilled professional dog trainer employs humane training methods.
* Your trainer should have a thorough understanding of the principles of learning behavior and be able to explain them to you in a "user-friendly" manner.
* Avoid trainers who utilize the practice of hanging, beating, kicking, and any procedures that may cause pain or distress to your dog.
